Lead Generation Companies | The Power of Perseverance
Author’s note: One of my all-time favorite posts.
In a recent Laugh and Learn (our weekly show on B2B marketing featuring wit and humor) the topic was a great video on free hugs from Italy. Haunting music too. Really inspiring. (Click underlined words to watch the show.)
But as you watch that video, you see that they initially failed over and over. Finally, people started paying attention and the hugs start coming.
The lesson from that video is this: When life kicks you in the teeth and knocks you down - get up. Over and over and over.
Case in point - we’ve worked our butts off for two years with little to show. We made some decent money but not enough.
On Friday, a fellow Notre Dame grad connects with me on Linkedin. He learns what we do and he knows a lot of companies I’d love to crack into. He’s helping me now.
Then a lady I’ve been trying to reach for weeks connects with me. She’s now a key ally.
Also, we did a contest on B2B Marketing Ideas. Great press and killer press release coming out tomorrow too. Should get us tons of press.
A prospect found our website by doing a Google search for free white paper on sales lead generating
Here’s the bottom line - in my mind:

When life knocks you down, get up.

When life knocks you down a second time, get up.

When life knocks you down a third time, get up.

When life knock you down for the 9,999th time, get up.
