Why I stopped attending conferences

Lead generation companies | No longer attend conferences as an attendee

Here are three terrific marketing conferences.

  1. Dreamforce
  2. MarketingProfs
  3. DemandCon

Pluse, I’m continually being offered more and more. MarketingProfs, Online Marketing Summit. BMA, etc. All great events. Too bad I won’t be there. I’m attending none of them.

After two decades or more of attending conferences, I’m done. Unless I’m invited as a speaker or host. At this point in my career, I need to be in the front of the room.

Here are some examples of being in the front of the room:

  • CMO Thought Leadership Summit - Presenter
  • Aprimo - host of the B2B track at the Aprimo Marketing Summit.
  • Eloqua will notify me soon if I am a speaker for the Eloqua Experience.
  • 140Conference (social media) - Presenter

From our How We Help You page.

We have a big sales kickoff meeting and we’d like to use the Fearless Competitor as our keynote speaker.

Recommend our speaker fee of $3,500 plus expenses

I’d love to speak at your next event!
